Golden Retrievers
Golden Wheat Harvest Farm Pups
About Me!
My name is Dena Mason. My husband and I live on a farm raising wheat and running a cow/calf operation. When we were first married, I fell in love with his golden retriever, and when he died of old age, we wanted another one to grow up with our children. The love of the breed grew on me, and with living on a farm, we decided to go ahead and have one litter of puppies. Well, 10 years later, we have become a hobby breeder.
All our puppies are raised around children, are vet-checked from the get-go, and have all their first shots, and the Dam and Sire are both OFA certified on hips, elbows, eyes, thyroid, and cardiac.
These pups are very healthy and were born in our basement. They spend their first 4 weeks in our basement. They are wormed every two weeks until they leave the nest. They will have their first vaccination shots at 7 and 1/2 weeks.

Hoofprints of the Heart
Hoofprints of the Heart takes you back in time to a small town and a simpler life, before cell phones and social media, when communication was composed of actions, and the love of family and nature.
In the close-knit farming community of Eckley, Colorado, young Dena grew up surrounded by family, friends, and the realities of life and loss. Riding horses across the vast eastern plains and guided by her Uncle Max, she navigated the complexities of faith, love, and self-discovery.
As Dena matured, she came to understand that heartache and loss are inseparable from love—and that embracing every moment is essential to finding true happiness. This poignant and uplifting coming-of-age tale will inspire a deeper acceptance of life’s unpredictability, including the loss of loved ones, while renewing your faith in God and the enduring strength of family bonds.
